Description
Are you a compassionate, go-getter that is interested in working with a treatment team to provide therapy services in a school setting? Are you looking for a position that offers the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of children/adolescents and their families? Are you interested in working a schedule that reflects a school schedule and allows for additional time off?
Arisa Health is currently hiring for School-Based Therapists for the upcoming school year. Arisa employs over 260 school based providers located in 401 schools throughout 82 school districts in Arkansas. We have a wealth of knowledge and expertise serving students in a school setting by rendering services to approximately 10,000 students each year. Productivity bonus opportunities available.
Arisa offers competitive pay and excellent full-time employee benefits including:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Short-term and Long-term disability
- 401K with employer match
- Continuing Education and Supervision
- $2,000 sign on bonus for non-terminally licensed Mental Health Professionals and a $3,000 sign on bonus for those who are terminally licensed
- Opportunity for monthly productivity-based bonus pay
Arisa offers the following for our School-Based Therapists:
- In addition to Paid Time Off that can be taken throughout the calendar year, School Break days are available during the Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring Breaks
- Opportunity to earn additional Summer Break days
- Opportunity to work a school day schedule
- Provide more frequent therapeutic services to a smaller caseload than in a traditional outpatient setting
- Work in a team environment which includes collaboration and support from school personnel, leadership and the treatment team
Arisa Health's School Based program was cited as the "model" for such programs by the Arkansas Department of Education. These programs are designed to help students in preschool through high school who are facing emotional and/or behavioral challenges. Through individual, group and family therapy, support services, and case management, the school based counselors help children and families reduce the barriers to learning and improve the emotional and behavioral development of the student. By placing counselors in the schools, Arisa Health is able to serve students in a familiar place and with less interruption to their school day. This also helps reduce the costs and travel time by family members. School Based therapists are able to adjust their schedule throughout the week when students are absent to ensure consistent services are provided. Common problems addressed in school based sessions include: difficulty adjusting to a stressful event such as divorce or loss of a loved one and mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, behavioral challenges, and trauma.
Arisa Health is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sex, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, status as a protected veteran, among other things, or status as a qualified individual with disability.
Arisa Health aspires to lead with exceptional care that nurtures health and well-being for all by promoting an environment that is welcoming, equitable, inclusive, and diverse. We desire a workforce that represents the communities we serve. As such, we aim to make a difference by building a trustworthy culture that advances opportunities for growth while also encouraging excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
