Pharmacy Support Person

Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance and administrative support for the Pharmacy department
• Provide customer service via phone and in person efficiently
• Pharmacy experience is preferred
• Stocking and ordering of supplies
• Update and maintain documents, policies and forms as directed
• Engage in caring and professional communication

Requirements:

• Must register with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Support Person or hold current registration as Pharmacy Tech with the State of Iowa
• High school diploma or equivalent

Schedule:

• 72 hours a pay period
• Day/Evening
• Mon-Fri
• Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs on the department
