Scheduling Manager

Summary/ObjectiveThe Schedule Manager is responsible for preparing and maintaining construction schedules to optimize project planning and execution. This role involves coordinating between project teams to ensure effective time management, resource allocation, and progress tracking. The Schedule Manager works closely with project managers, engineers, and designers to create accurate timelines, update schedules, and mitigate delays. This role is a full-time and in-person position. Initial assignment will be on-site at one of Evans’ jobsites near Atlanta, GA.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCommunicate effectively with all project stakeholders including field staff, and the client to ensure efficient and accurate schedule development and updatesBuilder’s mindset and proficiency in Critical Path MethodologyAbility to navigate, read, and comprehend construction drawings and specificationsMeet with Project Management, Owners, Field Teams & Subcontractors in development of baseline schedule, monthly updates and recovery schedulesIdentify and communicate significant schedule risksDevelop Work Breakdown Structures and work with project staff to facilitate development of the project scheduleEvaluate the performance of the project by analyzing significant schedule, budget and/or resource variancesPrepare and distribute weekly and monthly documents including updates, critical path reports, near term schedules, narratives, etc.Utilize Primavera P6 and or MS Project scheduling software to update and document schedule performanceMonitor and status schedule progressAnalyze delivery impacts, time extensions, claims, etc.Collaborate with preconstruction teams to generate proposal and baseline schedulesInteract with scheduling consultant in schedule reviews, claims analysis, etc.Participate in and create training for various stakeholders within and without the companyExpert skillset required in P6 and MS project. Understanding advantages and disadvantages and use case scenarios for each softwareOther Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering required or equivalent years of experience in Scheduling3-5 years of commercial construction scheduling experience preferred in Data Center, Life Sciences & ManufacturingPrimavera P6 & MS Project scheduling experienceSolid understanding of industry and construction field practices
