Data AnalystOur client is an organization in the Rock County area that's looking for a Data Analyst. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, detail-oriented, and organized. This position is onsite.The salary for this position is $65K – $75K.The Data Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:Analyze historical freight data, shipment trends, market conditions, and pricing information to identify key insights and opportunities.Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and quarterly business reviews using tools such as Power BI and Excel.Support the Sales team with pricing recommendations, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.Evaluate fuel costs, freight rates, and market trends to help guide pricing strategy and business planning.Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations that clearly communicate the story behind the numbers.Maintain pricing information within the GSM government system and support related data entry, reporting, and analysis as needed.Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by management.The Data Analyst will possess the following:Associated Degree in Business, Economics, IS Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field2+ years of related experienceAdvanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups; Macros preferred)Experience with Power BI requiredStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEqual Opportunity EmployerThe compensation philosophy reflects the Company's reasonable expectation at the time of posting.
