Culinary Services Director
The Claiborne at Baton Rouge
Claiborne Senior Living is seeking an experienced and people-focused Culinary Services Director ) to lead all aspects of our dining services operation. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality, nutritious meals while fostering a clean, safe, and welcoming dining experience for our residents.

- Manage, mentor, and develop a culinary team in a supportive environment
- Partner cross-functionally with clinical, operations, and activities teams

- Oversee all dining services operations, including food quality, service, sanitation, and safety
- Develop and implement menus that meet residents' nutritional needs, preferences, and special diets
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal food service, sanitation, and safety regulations
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise dining services team members
- Manage food and supply inventory while adhering to budget guidelines
- Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming dining areas and kitchen spaces
- Partner with the Activities team to plan special events and themed meals
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to address feedback and concerns
- Monitor resident satisfaction and implement improvements as needed
- Drive continuous improvement in service standards, presentation, and overall dining experience
- 3-5 years of management experience in food service, hospitality, senior living, or healthcare
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver excellent customer service
- Knowledge of nutritional guidelines, special diets, and food service best practices
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to remain focused and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire)
