Job Title: Cake Team Member Reports to: General Manager Paris Baguette is a rapidly expanding bakery café chain with a mission to deliver joy through expertly crafted baked and brewed goods. We value quality, dedication, and a supportive team culture.

KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Scale, decorate, and produce all desserts, pastries, and cakes. Apply general knowledge of production methods and organization of confectionery production. Learn new products and skills, and demonstrate proper techniques to new cakers. Follow sanitization procedures and maintain overall cleanliness of the workstation. Manage time and tasks with strong organizational skills. Know all recipes and procedures for production. Ensure cake displays are presentable for internal and external customers. Make creams and sauces for cakes and pastries. Receive, stock, and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner. Inform supervisor of equipment malfunctions and low food supplies. Perform other related duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

Knowledge of food production processes, sanitization, and quality programs. Understanding of food microbiology, sanitary safety practices, and procedures. Food safety, labeling, and nutrition knowledge, including FDA regulations. Confectionery or foods major preferred. Food Handler’s Certificate preferred. Effective communication skills and teamwork ability. Ability to multi‑task and manage multiple priorities. High emotional intelligence and empathy, able to work with diverse teams. Team player who fosters collaboration and engagement. Brand ambassador commitment to Paris Baguette’s mission and vision.
