About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director for HR Business Partnership and Client Services. This inaugural leadership role is pivotal in shaping the future of Human Resources at the institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the evolution of the HR business partnership model and client services organization, with a focus on building strong, trusted partnerships across the University. This includes serving as the senior HR business partner for the Executive Vice President's portfolio, providing strategic counsel on a range of HR issues, and ensuring that the HR function is recognized for both operational excellence and strategic value. The role also involves advancing client services excellence, building organizational capability, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Master's degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years' of executive HR leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of partnering with senior executives, leading high-performing HR teams, and driving organizational change. Strong business acumen, executive presence, and the ability to influence and build consensus are essential. Experience in workforce analytics and a background in large, mission-driven, decentralized organizations are preferred. The Executive Director is expected to be an authentic, collaborative leader who can balance strategic thinking with operational execution, champion inclusion, and model the values of the institution. Success in this role will be measured by the establishment of a cohesive, effective HR business partnership model and the strengthening of the University's confidence in the HR function.
