Dialysis Nurse ManagerWe are seeking a Dialysis Nurse Manager to join our team! Vibra Hospital of Northern California, located in Redding, CA, is a 50 bed Critical Care Hospital and a 32 bed SNF providing long-term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.Responsible for coordinating and managing assigned unit activities in the Dialysis Center in order to provide quality patient care. Supervises the development, implementation and evaluation of dialysis patients while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Healthcare. Reviews all patients receiving dialysis therapy and assesses clinical status throughout treatment. Assists dialysis team members as needed in the delivery of acute hemodialysis utilizing the established standards of care. Areas of practice are diverse, including, but not limited to, the fields of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act.Required Skills:Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing required.Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.Minimum of two (2) years of dialysis experience required.Current BLS and ACLS certifications from a Vibra-approved vendor required.Previous clinical and leadership experience required.Must be able to accurately interpret color test strips.Additional Qualifications/Skills:Ability to project a professional image.Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.At Vibra Healthcare, employees are our priority. It's not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $46.00/hr to $69.56/hr.
