Integration and Data Intelligence Delivery Lead- TechnicalEmployment Type: Full-time Location: Pune, India (Remote, in-person training required) Work Hours: Flexible, with 3–4 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern morning Fixed Base Compensation Range: 50-58 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum)Overview The Integration and Data Intelligence Delivery Lead serves as a hands-on technical leader—specializing in higher education ERP environments—responsible for ensuring high-quality technical delivery, developing technical talent, and maintaining delivery consistency across the local technical team.This role operates as a player-coach, balancing direct client delivery responsibilities with leadership responsibilities that support team performance, technical excellence, and operational consistency. The Team Lead partners closely with the Practice Director, Project Managers, and Functional Leaders to ensure technical resources are effectively deployed, delivery risks are identified early, and technical solutions align with client needs. This role elevates technical execution while fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and scalable delivery practices across the team. Responsibilities Technical Delivery leadership & Subject Matter Expertise Serve as a senior technical resource on client engagements, providing hands-on support for Development, implementations, upgrades, integrations, Extensions, workflow, reporting, and system enhancements. Ensure technical work is delivered accurately, efficiently, and aligned with project scope. Review technical project health and proactively identify risks, blockers, or delivery concerns. Provide technical oversight on complex client initiatives and step in when projects require senior technical expertise. Support troubleshooting efforts for complex technical issues, integrations, reporting challenges, and system defects. Partner with project managers to ensure technical timelines, deliverables, and dependencies are clearly understood. Escalate major delivery concerns to Practice Leadership when broader operational decisions are required. Support consultants assigned to unfamiliar technical workstreams. Provide technical guidance to team members working outside their typical expertise. Conduct performance reviews and goal-setting conversations. Share practice updates during internal team meetings. Serve as a technical resource to broader SIG teams when technical expertise is needed. Collaborate with other teams on regulatory or compliance initiatives requiring technical support. Technical quality & standards Establish and maintain technical quality standards across the team. Ensure consistency in technical design, development practices, integrations, and documentation. Create and maintain reusable technical assets, templates, and implementation documentation. Drive standardization of technical methodologies, tools, and best practices. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through repeatable processes and reusable solutions. Ensure technical teams are involved early in project planning and scoping discussions when appropriate. Ability to learn and adopt new Artificial Intelligence mechanisms to improve the delivery quality. Team leadership & coaching Provide day-to-day leadership, mentorship, and support to technical consultants. Conduct regular check-ins focused on workload, development, and delivery support. Help team members strengthen technical skills and expand platform expertise. Identify skill gaps and create development opportunities through training, mentorship, and project exposure. Support onboarding of new technical team members. Promote cross-training to reduce knowledge silos and improve team flexibility. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and solutions-oriented team culture. Sales & solution development Partner with Account Executives, Sales teams, Engagement Managers, and Project Managers to identify technical resource needs for new opportunities. Help define technical skill requirements needed for prospective client work. Participate in technical scoping calls and solution design conversations. Support technical portions of RFP responses. Contribute technical expertise to Statements of Work (SOWs) to ensure technical scope is realistic and well-defined. Review technical solution materials and client presentations as needed. Help identify appropriate technical consultant/client matches based on technical complexity and resource capability. Talent evaluation & workforce planning Partner with recruiting teams to define technical hiring requirements for local team. Help recruiters identify technical screening criteria for open positions. Review resumes and participate in candidate interviews. Evaluate technical capabilities of candidates. Maintain technical skills inventories for current staff to support resource planning. Identify future technical hiring needs based on evolving client demand. Resource planning & staffing support Provide feedback for staffing decisions based on technical skill sets, workload capacity, and project requirements. Identify bandwidth constraints and potential staffing gaps. Recommend project assignments based on team strengths and development opportunities. Partner with Practice Leadership on resource planning. Technical escalation & problem resolution Serve as the first point of escalation for significant technical delivery issues. Support resolution of architecture concerns, integration failures, and technical blockers. Partner with functional teams when issues require cross-functional coordination. Escalate broader business, contractual, or client relationship concerns to Practice Leadership. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Functional Team Leads, Project Managers, and Practice Leadership. Support stronger collaboration between functional and technical teams. Ensure technical perspectives are included during project planning, scoping, and execution. Help improve communication across teams to reduce operational friction. Required Qualifications 8+ year of technical consulting or software delivery experience.Experience leading full-stack engineering teams.Strong integration architecture and API experience.Experience supporting implementations, upgrades, migrations, and system enhancements. Demonstrated ability to lead technical problem-solving efforts. Experience mentoring or leading technical team members. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to balance hands-on delivery responsibilities with leadership expectations. Strong client-service mindset and ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications Strong technical expertise in Ellucian Banner / Colleague architecture, integrations, Extensions, workflow, reporting, custom development, and system troubleshooting. Experience working in higher education consulting environments. Experience with Ellucian SaaS/cloud environments. Knowledge of APIs, integrations, SQL, and reporting tools. Experience creating technical documentation and reusable implementation assets. Experience supporting multiple institutions or diverse technical environments. Success in This Role Looks Like Technical projects are delivered with greater consistency and fewer escalations. Team members are cross-trained and less dependent on individual “go-to” experts. Technical quality standards are clearly defined and consistently followed. Delivery risks are identified earlier. Collaboration improves between technical, functional, and project management teams. The Lead can remain focused on strategic growth, staffing strategy, and client leadership because technical execution is operating effectively. The listed salary range for this position is indicative and subject to adjustment based on the candidate's unique skills and location.
