The CMA ensures smooth clinic operations through appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and maintaining accurate medical records in specialized EHR software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient intake and record vital signs
• Perform phlebotomy and assist with clinical procedures
• Document medical information accurately in electronic health records
• Provide administrative support including appointment scheduling
• Verify insurance information efficiently
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and clinic protocols

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in medical assisting
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
• Phlebotomy skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR)
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
