What You'll Do

• Provide expert nursing care to adult oncology patients in a busy outpatient clinic
• Manage patient assessments, education, and treatment plans
• Document patient interactions and clinical data accurately using EPIC system
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor for and respond to patient needs and adverse events
• Support and educate patients with diagnoses including leukemia, lymphoma, anemia, and other hematologic conditions
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

What You Need

• Valid Ohio RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of oncology nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred:

• ACLS certification
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential

This assignment is at a prominent healthcare facility in Columbus, Ohio, focusing on adult outpatient oncology care. The unit handles a wide spectrum of hematologic and oncologic diagnoses, with a patient census typically between 80-100 daily.
