Part Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Fee For Service

[ Overview Thriveworks is currently seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Jersey City, New Jersey. Clinicians must be licensed and living in the state in which they will be practicing. Compensation This position is fee‑for‑service (W2). Salary range: $71,000–$102,000 per year, based on 15–20 clinical hours per week. We do not push or incentivize stimulant medications; they are offered as an option based on the client’s symptoms and diagnosis, with prescribing decisions left to the clinician’s discretion. Responsibilities Provide care to a diverse population with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more. Work with adults and adolescents, with future focus on expanding care across the lifespan. See intakes in person and follow up with clients in person every 90 days. Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations in both in‑person and telemedicine settings. Treat patients 14 years old and up. Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms as needed. Create and collaborate with clients on care plans. Complete and administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients. Adhere to Thriveworks’ Clinical Practice Guidelines. Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services at various sites. Complete in‑house training on our ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach, followed by a brief exam. Qualifications Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification. Master’s in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state. One year of psychiatry practice required; three years of experience preferred. Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus. Licensed in and residing in the state where the position is located.
