The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.Basic Qualifications:Supplier Mission Assurance Engineer: Bachelor's in Science degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience OR Master's degree and 0 or more years of relevant experiencePrincipal Supplier Mission Assurance Engineer: Bachelor's in Science degree and 5 or more years of relevant experience OR Master's degree and 3 or more years of relevant experience or PhD with 1 years experience.Experience developing, planning, and/or implementing quality methods and strategies for procured items to assure the design, procurement, acceptance, and use of procured items.Experience interfacing with suppliers, customers, work associates/teams, and/or management.Manufacturing/engineering experienceExperience with AS9100/ISO9001 requirementsMust be able to travel up to 25-50% of the timeMust be a US Citizen with an ability to obtain a DoD Secret ClearanceMust be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needsPreferred Qualifications:Ability to apply problem solving/critical thinking skills to support and resolve issues at the supply baseDemonstrated knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001 requirements and lead auditor experience to these standards.Demonstrated written and verbal interpersonal and communication skillsExtensive experience working with aerospace/defense industry suppliers onsite.General experience with special processesExperience in root cause analysis and corrective actionSix Sigma or Lean certificationsPrimary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
