Nurse (RN / LPN) - PRN
Rehab Unit | Well-Spring, A Life Plan Community - Greensboro, NC

We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Rehab team on a PRN basis. We are looking for PRN nurses who are available and flexible to help support staffing needs across all shifts.
Position Details

• PRN
• 1st Shift: 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
• Weekend and shift differential pay available
• PRN requirement: minimum of 2 shifts per pay period (every 2 weeks)

Position Summary

In this role, you will provide nursing care and oversight within our Rehab unit, supporting residents recovering from surgery, illness, or hospitalization. You'll work closely with CNAs, therapy teams, and fellow nurses to ensure residents receive excellent clinical care while maintaining comfort, dignity, and safety.

This is a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys relationship-based care in a smaller, supportive rehab setting while maintaining schedule flexibility.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and oversight for rehab residents
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate updates appropriately
• Collaborate with therapy staff, CNAs, and the interdisciplinary team
• Document care accurately and thoroughly
• Respond to resident needs, incidents, and emergencies as needed
• Support infection control and safety standards
• Help create a positive, supportive environment for residents and families

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina RN or LPN license
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Experience in rehab, skilled nursing, long-term care, or assisted living preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Passion for working with older adults
• Must be dependable and available to work scheduled PRN shifts as needed
