Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in a hospital Birthing Unit, requiring circulating experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week, 3 shifts per week
• Hospital-based Obstetrics Birthing Unit setting
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; temporary MA license accepted
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
• Circulating experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) at intermediate level or above
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and full Social Security Number required for consideration
• COVID vaccination required; medical and religious exemptions accepted with documentation

Additional Information

• Preferred certifications include Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics (ALSO), Perinatal NCC Certifications (Maternal Newborn Nursing Level I, Postpartum, or Inpatient Obstetric Nursing - Labor and Birth), and First Latch breastfeeding certification
• No scrub color requirement; blue is recommended
• Former permanent staff at this facility are not eligible to return as travelers
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days during the assignment
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible at a reduced pay rate
