Industrial Superintendent

This organization is a national design/build construction firm specializing in large-scale industrial facilities across the U.S. With approximately 600 employees nationwide and a strong Mid-Atlantic presence, the company delivers high-impact projects while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented culture. The Superintendent plays a critical role in driving project success, mentoring field teams, and upholding high standards of safety and quality across all work.

The Superintendent will be responsible for managing on-site construction activities and ensuring successful project execution. Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing day-to-day field operations on industrial construction projects
• Managing schedules, subcontractors, and site logistics for turnkey builds
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
• Coordinating with project management, design teams, and leadership
• Enforcing quality control and safety standards across all job sites
• Leading and mentoring field personnel throughout the project lifecycle

The Superintendent will primarily support projects within two hours of Richmond, with most work concentrated in the North and Southeast regions. The ideal Industrial Superintendent will bring strong leadership and deep industrial construction experience, including:

• 5+ years of construction experience
• Background in industrial, warehouse, self-storage, or distribution center projects (preferred)
• Experience managing projects typically ranging from $40M-$100M (preferred)
• Proven success delivering turnkey construction projects
• Ability to travel regionally as needed (within 75 miles of Richmond)
• Strong communication and team leadership skills

What's on Offer:

• Base salary: $120,000 - $150,000
