Description
Parrish Medical Center (PMC), a Parrish Healthcare integrated care partner, has been in continuous operation in the North Brevard area of Floridas Space Coast since 1958 and has been designated by NASA as an official medical receiving facility.

Today, PMC is an award-winning, nationally recognized 208-bed, five story, not-for-profit, public, hospital serving the entire North Brevard community with an array of wellness and healthcare services. No local taxes have been levied to support the hospital's mission since 1994.

Case Assignments
Diverse surgical case mix including general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, neurology, vascular, pediatrics, endoscopy, urology, and outpatient procedures


Shifts
Flexible scheduling options available. Non-call position. No nights or weekends!

Responsibilities
Pre-anesthesia assessment
Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
Performance of clinical intervention as needed


Requirements
Current license as a registered professional nurse
Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
