Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting at a Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
• Respond to on-call needs as required by unit demands
• Participate in weekend coverage as needed per unit scheduling requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Active RN license in the state of Mississippi or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines (no pending licenses accepted)
• Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment
• Valid driver's license required at time of submission
• Travelers must reside at least 100 miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of recent Emergency Room experience
• Large hospital or high-volume facility experience
• EPIC electronic health record experience
