Silpa Companies is hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer for multi-cloud client engagements. You will design landing zones, build IaC modules and paved-road platforms, lead networking architecture, and partner with security and platform engineering to ship cloud foundations that engineering teams actually adopt. This is a senior IC role; you will own architecture decisions and defend them to client leadership. Design landing zones on AWS (Control Tower, Organizations), Azure (Management Groups, Landing Zone Accelerator), and GCP (Resource Manager, Org Policies). Build and maintain Terraform modules with rigorous testing and versioning. Lead networking architecture including VPC / VNet design, hybrid connectivity, and zero-trust network access. Build platform paved-roads that internal teams self-serve from. Partner with cloud security on baseline controls, IAM, and detection coverage. Drive FinOps practice including cost allocation, budgets, and rightsizing programs. Author client architecture decision records and defend them to engineering leadership. Lead cloud migrations or modernization where in scope. Mentor mid-level cloud engineers on the engagement team. 6 or more years of cloud engineering with production work on at least two of AWS, Azure, GCP. Production Terraform at module-author depth including testing and release practice. Working knowledge of cloud cost management and FinOps practice. Strong scripting skills in Python or Go. Authorized to work in the U.S. Candidates located in the Houston, Texas area will be given preference; remote consultants will also be considered. Reliable, secure internet connection and ability to travel to client sites as required by engagement scope.
