• Shift: 12-hour shifts (Days/Nights)
• Hours/Week: 40+ hours/week
• Employment Type: Locum/Temporary
• License/Certs: Active California Medical License, Board Certified/Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Experience: Prior OB hospitalist experience preferred

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $234.00/hr

What You ll Do:

• Provide inpatient obstetric care to unassigned, private, and OBHG patients within the hospital's labor and delivery units.
• Support Level III NICU care in collaboration with neonatal specialists.
• Manage emergent GYN cases as required.
• Collaborate with anesthesia team available 24/7 to ensure patient safety.
• Participate in the pseudo laborist model for unassigned patients.
• Engage with residents from local family medicine programs rotating through OB units.
• Provide emergent and routine obstetric and gynecological services.
• Communicate effectively with community providers for backup support during emergencies.

What You Need:

• Active medical license in California.
• Board Certified or eligible in OB/GYN.
• Prior hospitalist or OB delivery experience preferred.
• Comfortable managing emergent GYN procedures and labor care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
