Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position requiring 1+ year of experience and a valid state license.

Details

• Full-time Home Health PT position covering select Ohio zip codes (45202, 45210, 45214, 45217, 45219, 45220, 45229, 45206, 45207, 45212, 45237)
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Patient population includes geriatrics, neurology, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics, cardiopulmonary, and wound care cases

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• BLS certification required
• Valid state PT license required prior to start date; cannot start with a pending license; license required if applicable
• HomeCare HomeBase charting experience preferred but not required
• Experience with assessment skills including assistive devices, body mechanics, pain assessment, sensory response, and strength testing
• Documentation skills including evaluations, plans of care, and short/long term goals

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include home exercise program development and patient/family education
• Knowledge of safety, injury prevention, and recognizing signs of abuse preferred
• Experience with cardiopulmonary conditions such as COPD, CHF, CABG, and PVD preferred
• Experience in LTAC, rehabilitation hospital, SNF, and pediatric settings preferred
