600 Wilson Creek Rd, Lawrenceburg, Indiana Job Summary Professionally trained individual who produces high quality radiographs and basic CT’s for interpretation and diagnosis. Demonstrates respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background. Responsibilities Operates all equipment in an effective, safe and efficient manner. Employs proper radiographic positioning in accordance with current department procedures. Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of all equipment; complies with house‑wide BSI precautions. Follows the safety steps required to perform duties and remains in compliance with medical, state and federal safety standards. Performs all aspects of ordered CT procedure; provides diagnostic images for interpretation by the Radiologist. Effectively utilizes all necessary computer systems in compliance with HIPAA guidelines. Obtains and records all patient data as required by the medical center, state, JCAHO or other agencies; ensures proper charging of all procedures, correct coding and modifiers. Reviews images for high quality; assists in performing QC, QA, QI or ACR as necessary. Performs other duties as assigned. Education, Credentials, Licenses Education and National Credentials Current CPR certification Graduate of an approved accredited program of Radiologic Technology ARRT(R) registered Complete ARRT (CT) within 15 months of job assignment Complete CT competency checklist within first 90 days of job assignment Complete ARRT (CT) certification within 1 year of competency checklist completion State Licensure Kentucky KBMIRT Radiation Operator's License – Radiography (Temporary or Permanent) Associate has 12 months from the issuance of a Temporary KBMIRT Radiation Operator’s License – Radiography to obtain ARRT(R) Indiana Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) License – (Radiologic Technologist or Radiology Student Permit) Associate has 6 months from the issuance of a Radiology Student Permit to obtain ARRT(R) Specialized Knowledge Effective communication skills Experience On the job training FLSA Status Non‑Exempt Job Information Job Type: Radiology Department: Dearborn X‑Ray and Fluoroscopy Shift: Split 1/2 Hours: 24 hours St. Elizabeth Healthcare – Award Winning Care, Life Changing Careers. #J-18808-Ljbffr St. Elizabeth HealthCare
