Database Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Database Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing, optimizing, and maintaining our organization's databases to ensure they operate efficiently, securely, and reliably. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support our data infrastructure and contribute to the development of database strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of company databases.
- Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues;
- Formulates and implements backup procedures for all company databases;
- Perform database related development as dictated by departmental or project demands;
- Experience with cloud database technologies (ie. AWS RDS, Oracle, MS SQL, Azure)
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud products (EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda, Aurora, Dynamo DB, EMR, DMS data migration, Athena, Glue, Kinesis, SQS/SNS, etc.
