• On-Call: Sunday through Saturday, 0000 2359, with at least 2 overnight shifts and 1 weekend call every 3 months

• Certifications: Board certified in Orthopedic Surgery; Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted medical license in California
• Experience: Minimum 1 year post-residency with specialized training in foot and ankle surgery

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic imaging review
• Develop and manage non-surgical treatment plans for foot and ankle conditions
• Perform surgeries such as fracture fixations, arthroscopic procedures, joint replacements, and deformity corrections
• Handle complex trauma cases, limb salvage, and high-acuity conditions
• Provide urgent and emergent orthopedic care during on-call shifts
• Manage pre- and post-operative patient care, including wound management and rehabilitation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in resident education
• Maintain accurate medical records and contribute to operational and research initiatives

What You Need

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school or equivalent education for foreign grads
• Current, active medical license in California
• Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery with Fellowship in Foot and Ankle
• At least 1 year of post-residency experience in orthopedic surgery, with specialized foot and ankle training
• Key skills: surgical expertise, patient management, strong communication, adaptability to a military healthcare environment
