As a Security Officer Access Control Clearance Required in Colorado Springs, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and communicate professionally with personnel and guests. Your visible presence and attention to detail will help deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a front desk within an aerospace and defense location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and promptly communicating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor front desk communications, answer incoming calls, direct inquiries, and maintain awareness of activity in the lobby and entry areas.
• Assist with access-control procedures, report unusual activity or security-related concerns, and support a professional, welcoming environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
