Director of Case Management

A large acute care hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada is seeking a Director of Case Management to lead departmental operations. The facility is the largest acute care hospital in Nevada, serving the community for nearly 60 years and holding a Consumer Choice Award for 15 consecutive years. The hospital operates an advanced comprehensive stroke center that received the Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award from Get With The Guidelines, and is home to the state's only fresh post‑op Pediatric CICU. This is a full‑time, on‑site leadership role with a daytime schedule, rotating weekends, and 7 to 10 hour shifts. Reporting to facility leadership and collaborating closely with the CFO and Division Case Management Leader, this director leads all departmental operations for case management, including care model design, staffing and skill mix, onboarding, and staff competencies. The director ensures rigorous adherence to care coordination and discharge planning processes, with particular emphasis on timeliness, quality, and documentation integrity. A central responsibility involves assessing and continuously improving departmental performance by analyzing operational data and implementing sustainable improvement initiatives. The director also cultivates strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including the CMO, CNO, ancillary service leaders, and Ethics, Compliance, and Legal teams. Key Responsibilities Lead all departmental operations for case management across the facility Oversee care model design, staffing and skill mix, onboarding, and staff competency development Ensure rigorous adherence to care coordination and discharge planning processes Maintain emphasis on timeliness, quality, and documentation integrity in all case management functions Assess departmental performance through operational data analysis and implement sustainable improvement initiatives Collaborate closely with the CFO and Division Case Management Leader on strategic and operational priorities Build and maintain strategic relationships with the CMO, CNO, ancillary service leaders, and Ethics, Compliance, and Legal teams Drive continuous improvement across all areas of case management operations Support organizational goals through effective resource utilization and interdepartmental coordination Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Master's degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or Business Administration preferred Current Registered Nurse licensure, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Master Social Worker credential required Minimum of three years of experience in overall acute care hospital case management required Minimum of two years of experience in case management leadership requiredExtensive case management leadership background with demonstrated ability to review data and develop action plans independently required Must be a self‑motivated, high‑performing professional with a strong work ethic and established strategic relationships with physicians and the post‑acute community Schedule Full‑time, days, rotating weekends 7 to 10 hour shifts Benefits $10,000 sign‑on bonus #J-18808-Ljbffr Career Land Center, LLC
