Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions, psychotherapies, and therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's needs. Develop comprehensive treatment plans and discharge plans that align with best practices.
• Gather pertinent information about patients through interviews, case histories, and observational techniques to accurately assess and identify mental health issues. Utilize this data to determine appropriate therapeutic approaches or referrals to additional specialists when necessary.
• Modify and train staff on assessment protocols, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage a caseload that includes both individual and collateral therapy, providing continuous support and follow-up for each client.
• Ensure all client documentation is thorough, timely, and complies with regulatory standards. Review case files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal and external program-specific guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve encompass a wide range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to substance use disorders, trauma, anxiety, and depression. Our patients seek help from our detox center as a primary step towards sustained recovery and well-being. As a clinical social worker, your insights and interventions will play a vital role in their journey towards improved mental health.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program.
• A valid and active California Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW).
• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in a healthcare setting, with at least one year dedicated to working in a mental health environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in conflict management and resolution in clinical scenarios.

Preferred Experience

• Previous clinical work experience in social services or healthcare, particularly in case management or direct social work practice.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and remote therapeutic practices.

Compensation and Benefits
