Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Two dedicated SLP professionals will collaborate with school staff to provide exceptional speech and language services throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. Ideal Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Illinois SLP license and appropriate certification
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs are considered
• Previous school-based experience or a strong interest in working in educational settings
• Solid understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and data-driven intervention
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a diverse student population
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, working closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate records and provide timely progress reports
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, both one-on-one and in small groups
• Support students’ social, academic, and communication skills to maximize their educational experiences
