Strategic Sourcing | Supplier Management | Cost Optimization About the Role In this role, you'll take ownership of supplier strategy, sourcing decisions, cost management initiatives, and cross-functional projects that directly support business objectives. You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex suppliers and product categories while balancing quality, delivery, innovation, and total cost considerations. Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned supplier portfolios and product categories Evaluate supplier capabilities, market conditions, manufacturing processes, and commercial opportunities Lead supplier selection activities for new product development and business expansion initiatives Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships focused on collaboration, accountability, and long-term value Negotiation & Cost Optimization Lead commercial negotiations involving pricing, contracts, and cost-reduction initiatives Identify opportunities to improve profitability through strategic sourcing and supplier partnerships Develop cost targets and sourcing recommendations supported by market research and business data Deliver annual savings and continuous improvement objectives Market Intelligence & Analysis Monitor industry trends, market pricing, emerging technologies, and supplier landscape developments Analyze supplier performance and business metrics to support strategic decision-making Present recommendations and sourcing strategies to leadership and key stakeholders Project Leadership Manage multiple sourcing initiatives and product development programs simultaneously Coordinate activities across procurement, engineering, operations, quality, and finance teams Drive project milestones, issue resolution, and stakeholder alignment Support business-critical projects focused on efficiency, supplier diversity, and operational excellence Team Development Provide guidance and mentorship to early-career procurement professionals Share best practices and support team development initiatives Promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaborative problem-solving Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field 2+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, engineering, quality, sales, or a related discipline Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills Ability to analyze data and translate insights into business recommendations Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills Advanced Microsoft Excel skills What You'll Gain This role provides exposure to: Strategic Sourcing Supplier Relationship Management Commercial Negotiations Cost Analysis & Financial Impact Cross-Functional Leadership New Product Development Project Management Process Improvement Initiatives If you're looking for an opportunity where your decisions directly influence business performance and operational success, we'd love to hear from you. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Dublin, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.65/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
