About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Allen Medical Assocaites as a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Northport, NY. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests as needed.
- Prescribe medications and manage patient follow-up care.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Assist in the implementation of clinic policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
- Current NP or PA license in New York State.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
