Maintenance Technician II - Mechatronics & Robotics

Ready to work with advanced automation, robotics, and high-speed equipment? We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician II to help keep our state-of-the-art distribution facility running efficiently.

Location: Houston, TX, USA

Pay Rate: $32.50/hour

Contract-to-Hire Opportunity (Direct hire after 3-4 months based on performance and attendance)

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyors and material handling equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
• Read blueprints and electrical schematics
• Support electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
• Manage work orders and maintenance activity through CMMS
• Track downtime, maintenance records, and spare parts inventory

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, distribution, or automation environments
• Experience with conveyors, MHE, or automated systems
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
• Strong electrical and troubleshooting skills
• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Experience

• PLCs and controls
• Robotics and automation
• CMMS systems
• Mechanical/Electrical certifications, degree, or apprenticeship training

Work Environment

• Large automated distribution facility
• Up to 10,000 steps per shift
• Lift up to 49 lbs.
• Open to any 10-hour shift schedule

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $42.60/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
