Position Overview Rebecca Bitzer & Associates is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Dietitian specializing in Eating Disorders to join our growing team. This full‑time, hybrid position offers the opportunity to provide outpatient nutrition counseling to adolescents and adults experiencing eating disorders, disordered eating, chronic dieting, body image concerns, and related mental health conditions. The ideal candidate is committed to providing weight‑inclusive, evidence‑based care and enjoys working collaboratively with therapists, physicians, psychiatrists, and other members of the treatment team. Our clinicians are supported by a collaborative environment, ongoing training opportunities, and access to a team of experienced eating disorder specialists. Location Hybrid position based in the Washington, DC–Baltimore region with a combination of in‑office and virtual counseling sessions. Compensation $70,720–$77,000 annually Key Responsibilities Provide individualized outpatient nutrition counseling for clients with eating disorders and disordered eating Develop personalized nutrition care plans that support recovery and long‑term well‑being Utilize evidence‑based approaches, including principles of intuitive eating, weight‑inclusive care, and behavior change counseling Collaborate with therapists, physicians, psychiatrists, and family members as appropriate to support comprehensive treatment Monitor client progress and adjust nutrition interventions based on individual needs and treatment goals Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities Educate clients on nutrition, meal planning, recovery strategies, and sustainable health behaviors Contribute to a supportive, collaborative team culture focused on exceptional client care Qualifications Required Eligible for or currently licensed as a dietitian in Maryland Experience counseling individuals with eating disorders and/or disordered eating Strong understanding of eating disorder treatment, recovery principles, and nutrition rehabilitation Excellent communication, counseling, and relationship‑building skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary team Preferred Experience working in outpatient eating disorder treatment Familiarity with Family‑Based Treatment (FBT), CBT‑E, ACT, DBT, Intuitive Eating, and Health at Every Size principles Experience treating ARFID, anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, OSFED, and chronic dieting concerns Experience providing telehealth nutrition counseling What We Offer PTO, sick leave, and paid holidays CEU allowance and ongoing professional development support Employer contribution toward health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match CDR maintenance fee reimbursement Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics membership coverage Collaborative team environment with regular case consultation and clinical support Administrative and billing support so you can focus on client care Opportunities for professional growth and specialization within a well‑established private practice At Rebecca Bitzer & Associates, you'll join a team that values clinical excellence, collaboration, and compassionate care.
