Estimator - Construction Atlanta, GA Full-Time On-Site

We are a leading General Contractor with a long standing reputation for delivering high quality multi family communities and commercial projects throughout the Southeast. With a robust pipeline in the Atlanta market, we are expanding our preconstruction team and looking for a detail oriented Estimator to help drive successful project outcomes from the earliest stages. The Estimator will play a critical role in the preconstruction process, responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for ground up multi family and commercial projects. This individual will collaborate closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure budgets are aligned with project goals and market conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for multi family and commercial construction projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to develop accurate budgets
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
• Develop conceptual, schematic, and GMP estimates
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving strategies
• Maintain and update cost databases and historical project data
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients during preconstruction
• Assist in bid packaging, scope definition, and subcontractor leveling
• Support project handoff to operations team upon award

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
• 3+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor
• Experience estimating ground up commercial and multi family projects
• Strong understanding of construction costs, materials, and methods
• Proficiency in estimating software (On Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, or similar)
