Maintenance Mechanic – JLLThe Maintenance Mechanic plays a critical role in ensuring the operational excellence of JLL-managed facilities by supporting the inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. In this hands-on position, you will work both independently and alongside the site Manager to maintain assigned properties' interior and exterior areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting. Your contributions directly impact client satisfaction and facility performance, making you an essential part of our operations team. This is an opportunity to showcase your technical skills while delivering exceptional service in a dynamic environment.What your day-to-day will look like:Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other installed systems and equipmentConduct assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on conditions that impact client occupancy and operationsExecute general interior maintenance tasks such as hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture systems, and fixing doorsAssist the operations team with building and equipment maintenance and repair as directed by managementReplace lighting fixtures and ballasts, clean HVAC coils, and change filters and belts to ensure optimal system performanceUpdate work order status in real time using CMMS systems and submit P-card receipts dailyComply with all safety procedures, complete required safety trainings, conduct vehicle safety inspections, and escalate issues to customers and managers promptlyRequired Qualifications:High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certificationMinimum of 1-3 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical systemsStrong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team membersStrong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilitiesValid licenses as required by the authority having jurisdictionAbility to lift up to 80 lbs., work from heights, and climb ladders up to 30 feet while carrying a tool bag weighing approximately 20 lbs.Capability to work in adverse conditions including extreme cold and extreme hot environmentsPreferred Qualifications:Experience utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work order tracking and documentationFamiliarity with completing Hazard Assessments and maintaining compliance with State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or LawsKnowledge of safe storage, usage, and disposal procedures for hazardous materialsDefensive driving training or certificationExperience moving office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials in a commercial facility settingBackground in facility operations or property management environmentsBasic troubleshooting skills for HVAC systems and building automation controlsLocation:Marana, AZWork Shift:Sunday-Wednesday, 6am-4:30pmThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
