About the Role:
Seaside Counseling and Wellness is looking for a compassionate and skilled Couples Counselor to join our growing team in beautiful Mount Pleasant, SC. Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based couples therapy using modalities such as EFT, Gottman Method, or CBT
• Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for each couple
• Facilitate sessions focused on communication, conflict resolution, and emotional intimacy
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of counselors and wellness professionals
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed
• Participate in regular clinical supervision and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

• Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or related field
• Active licensure in South Carolina (LPC, LMFT, LCSW)
• Experience providing couples or relational therapy in a clinical setting
• Proficiency in at least one evidence-based couples therapy framework
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Empathetic, non-judgmental, and culturally competent approach to care
