Night Shift Registered NurseWe're seeking a skilled and compassionate registered nurse to join our night shift team. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality care to our patients, manage treatment plans, and collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure each patient's needs are met with excellence and empathy.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient status.Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to determine care needs and document findings.Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately.Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.Work closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations, as well as state and federal guidelines.QualificationsGraduate of an accredited nursing program.Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of [State].Previous experience in a medical-surgical setting preferred.BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift and move patients as necessary.Prolonged periods of standing and walking.Ability to handle physical and emotional stress.Work ScheduleRegular schedule is based on patient volume and surgical schedule. Schedule is set by the nursing management prior to shift's start.
