Registered Nurse (RN) - Rehab

RN – Inpatient Rehab

Schedule: Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday)

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks

Requirements: 2 years RN experience required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS Experience with acute inpatient rehab care (cardiac, neuro, ortho, debility, amputation) EPIC experience required

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide nursing care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, focusing on various diagnoses including pulmonary, cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, and debility. Monitor patient vital signs and manage care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as prescribed. Assist with mobility, transfer techniques, and use of assistive devices. Educate patients and families regarding care plans, medications, and rehabilitation goals. Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols and safety measures.

Compliance / Notes: Maximum 7 days of requested time off Pre-start modules: 10-15 hours due by the Monday one week prior to start Orientation: 24 hours of initial training required Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required
