Job Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing both standardized assessments and observational techniques.
• Formulate individualized treatment strategies targeting both immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy with a focus on enhancing communication, language fluency, and voice clarity.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and caregivers to devise integrated care strategies.
• Provide education to patients and families to support therapeutic progress beyond clinical sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient therapy evaluations, ensuring seamless care throughout the patient journey.
• Keep comprehensive documentation compliant with state and federal regulations, as well as organizational standards.
• Stay updated with field advancements through ongoing education and peer living.

Educational Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified.

Certifications Needed

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
