HR Recruiter

SUMMARY The Human Resource Recruiter is primarily responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for all business locations, ensuring the organization attracts, hires, and retains qualified talent. This role partners with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, source and screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and facilitate the hiring process from initial contact through onboarding. In addition to recruitment responsibilities, the Human Resource Recruiter provides support for various human resources functions, including maintaining employee records, HRIS data entry, onboarding administration, and assisting with employee relations and compliance initiatives. This position helps ensure HR processes are administered in accordance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws while delivering a positive experience for candidates, new hires, and employees. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following functions: Manages the full-cycle recruitment process for all assigned positions, including posting job openings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting phone screens, coordinating interviews, and extending employment offers. Partners with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, understand staffing needs, and ensure timely placement of qualified candidates. Sources candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking, career fairs, and other recruiting channels to build a strong talent pipeline. Maintains accurate candidate records and tracks applicant status within the HRIS and Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring timely communication throughout the hiring process. Coordinates and schedules interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a positive and professional candidate experience. Conducts reference checks, initiates background screenings, and verifies pre-employment requirements in accordance with company policies. Completes Form I-9 verification, maintains I-9 documentation, and ensures compliance with federal employment eligibility requirements. Coordinates the pre-employment process, including offer letters, onboarding documentation, and new hire orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the organization. Prepares and maintains new employee personnel files and ensures all required employment documentation is complete and accurately filed. Assists with onboarding activities, including HRIS data entry, orientation scheduling, and new hire communications. Responds to candidate and employee inquiries regarding employment, hiring processes, onboarding, and general HR policies. Assists with employee record maintenance, HRIS updates, and personnel file management while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. Supports HR initiatives, including employee engagement, retention efforts, and performance management activities as assigned. Assists with processing employee separations and maintaining related documentation. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures throughout the recruitment and hiring process. Assists with administrative HR functions, including preparing correspondence, maintaining records, and supporting departmental projects. Performs other related duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Three (3) or more years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or a related field required. Experience recruiting for a variety of positions, including clinical and non-clinical roles, preferred. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruiting, hiring, and onboarding. Experience using Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and online recruiting platforms. Strong sourcing, interviewing, candidate screening, and relationship-building skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other standard business software. Professional Human Resources or Talent Acquisition certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, AIRS, or equivalent) preferred. Experience working in a healthcare environment required; Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) experience preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset and the ability to build positive relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders. Demonstrated interviewing, candidate assessment, and relationship-building skills. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple open positions and competing priorities simultaneously. Working knowledge of recruiting best practices, employment laws, and hiring procedures, including EEO, ADA, FLSA, and other applicable federal and state employment regulations. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive candidate and employee information. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and online recruiting platforms. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with hiring managers, department leaders, and the Human Resources team. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify recruiting challenges and recommend effective hiring solutions.
