Job Description Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine), you will join Dignity Health Medical Group-Sierra Nevada (Grass Valley, CA), where you can escape the urban hustle for the mountain air and pine trees of Northern California. Located just one hour from Lake Tahoe and 40 minutes from a major metropolitan area (without the traffic!), you'll practice medicine within a group of like-minded physicians passionately dedicated to their community. You will provide excellent primary care to adult patients, with a specific emphasis on managing those with complex medical needs. You'll operate within a robust referral network, ensuring easy access to specialists, and benefit from highly trained, competent, and caring support staff. To be successful in this role, you will be a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician with strong clinical skills, a patient-centered approach, and a commitment to providing high-quality care within a supportive team. An emphasis on managing medically complex patients will be particularly valued. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse adult patient population, including those with complex medical conditions. Utilize a strong referral base to ensure seamless access to specialists for patient needs. Collaborate effectively with highly trained support staff to optimize patient care and clinic flow. Actively participate in a physician-led practice environment that prioritizes teamwork and community well-being.
