Survey Party Chief

We are partnering with a growing surveying and geospatial firm seeking an experienced Party Crew Chief to support projects throughout South Florida. This is a hands‑on field leadership opportunity for someone with a strong surveying background who is comfortable leading crews and taking ownership of field operations. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate daily activities of a field survey crew, including 2–3 instrument operators Perform boundary, topographic, construction layout, control, and as-built surveys Operate GPS/GNSS, total stations, data collectors, and other survey equipment Interpret plans, survey instructions, and project requirements Maintain accurate field notes and ensure quality and accuracy of collected data Coordinate with project managers and office staff regarding project progress and field conditions Ensure field operations are completed safely and efficiently Qualifications 5+ years of surveying experience preferred; flexible for the right candidate Experience as a Party Chief, Crew Chief, or experienced Instrument Operator ready to step into leadership Experience leading or directing field survey personnel Strong knowledge of land surveying methods, field procedures, and equipment Experience with boundary, topographic, construction, control, and/or as-built surveys Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
