Principal, Insurance Brokerage – North America About the Role The applicant should have experience in advising insurance broker client executives—both business and IT—and leading teams for digital transformation, process reimagination, platform modernization programs, AI, and internal/external consulting engagements. Applicants should have some of the following experiences in the brokerage industry: Degree experience across the brokerage value chain, including prospecting, submissions, loss cost, and exposure analysis. Functional areas: submission management, carrier management, risk management programs, policy renewals, reinsurance, claims, and TPA. Broker integration with carriers, agents, and reinsurers. Digital transformation or modernization programs, including legacy transformation and digitization of services across the brokerage value chain. Business operations: problem identification, analysis, recommendations—including current state analysis, root‑cause analysis, insights, solutions, and future state design. Process reimagination, process optimization, change management, and design‑thinking techniques. Key Responsibilities Lead client relationships, including senior‑level interactions, anticipating and addressing client needs. Direct client delivery teams, managing projects to completion. Establish focus areas, concentrate deployment and delivery, and contribute thought leadership and intellectual property. Mentor and develop consultants, ensuring they acquire the skills needed for execution and deeper expertise. Develop personal brand and specialization, lead and mentor others, and invest in the progression of junior consultants. Leverage relationships with CSG and other delivery units to enhance client solutions and identify new consulting opportunities. Adapt behavior and language to different environments, staying abreast of market developments and proactively learning new skills. Provide leadership to delivery teams, support innovative thinking, and understand business drivers and KPIs. Represent the company in sales and marketing efforts, contributing to practice or firm‑building activities. Support associate and partner pursuit and proposal work, identifying opportunities from client work and relationships. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent. Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, with at least 2 years in comparable consulting services. Strong multitasking, stakeholder engagement, planning, and operational goal achievement skills. Excellent relationship‑building abilities. Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer‑based visa sponsorship. Experience leading programs using Agile and/or hybrid methodologies. Preferred: MBA or equivalent advanced degree; industry‑related certification. Creative problem solver with a strategic mindset and collaborative approach.
