We partner with experts across the industry, guided by empathy and insight, to advance health for everyone.The impact you’ll make in this roleAs an Electro Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for supporting production operations, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient plant environment.This role works the 3rd shift (Sunday – Thursday; 9:00pm – 5:30am) and includes starting pay of $41.42/hour plus a $1.00 shift differential. Training occurs on 1st shift (Monday – Friday; 5:00am – 1:30pm) for an estimated training period of 3 months – 1 year.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Installing, modifying, repairing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, inspecting, and calibrating industrial and commercial equipment used in production, laboratory, office and utility areas.Performing preventive maintenance procedures on production, facility, and safety equipment.Providing support as needed to Production and Engineering Groups for installation and optimization of new equipment and controls.Maintaining a clean, safe work environment and reporting unsafe work conditions, practices, or equipment to management immediately.Performing additional work assignments, such as plumbing, pipefitting, equipment rigging, millwright tasks, welding, and fabrication.Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.Required Qualifications:Prior mechanical equipment maintenance experience or related plant/production experiencePossess a two (2) year technical degree OR two (2) years of mechanical/electrical equipment maintenance experience“Nice to Have” Qualifications:General plumbing/pipefitting experienceGeneral equipment rigging/millwright experienceGeneral welding and fabrication experienceWork Location: Onsite - 2111 McGaw Ave, Irvine CA 92614Travel: Not required for this positionRelocation Assistance: Not authorizedLegal & ComplianceMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.Manufacturing Operations:This position sits within Solventum’s Manufacturing Operations, specifically at one of our global production facilities, where our teams play a hands-on role in bringing life-changing healthcare solutions to life.
