Journeyman or Master Plumber at Mohr Plumbing and Heating of Morris, Inc.

Mohr Plumbing and Heating of Morris is seeking a licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber to join our team. For more than 20 years, we have proudly served Stevens County with residential plumbing service, remodeling, and new-home construction. We are expanding so Aaron, the owner, can spend more time in the office preparing bids and less time in the field.

This is a full-time position based in Morris, Minnesota. Competitive pay is based on experience and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing service calls for residential and commercial clients, diagnose customer problems, and provide solutions that follow Minnesota Plumbing Code.

• Apply strong code knowledge while staying organized and detail-oriented.

• Follow current plumbing regulations so all installed systems pass inspection.

• Install and replace fixtures, including toilets, tubs, sinks, faucets, water softeners, water heaters, garbage disposals, Onyx showers, and related equipment in accordance with Minnesota Plumbing Code.

• Locate and identify leaks and repair or replace pipes and parts.

• Perform drain cleaning and operate jetting equipment.

• Complete water and sewer repairs.

• Determine the tools and equipment needed to complete each job successfully.

• Educate customers and answer their questions respectfully.

• Ensure all work complies with federal, state, and local plumbing codes and identify when a permit is required.

• Clean the jobsite after work is completed.

• Participate in rotating weekend on-call coverage; there are no weekday on-calls.

Experience and qualifications

• Licensed Journeyperson or Master Plumber. The license does not have to be from Minnesota; we can work with the right candidate to transfer it.

• Field-service experience is preferred.

• Ability to perform the heavy lifting required by the job.
