Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Week Assignment | Days | 10-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | On-Site | Every other weekend and holidays required in rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab environment with a 1:1 patient ratio in the lab setting
• Assist with heart catheterizations and interventions, peripheral caths and interventions, structural heart procedures (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, PFO & ASD closures), and carotid stents
• Support pacemaker and ICD implants, EP studies and ablations, and other advanced cardiac procedures
• Operate and assist with specialized equipment including GE imaging, Volcano, Rotoblator, Angiojet, IABP, Impella, Penumbra, and Inari systems
• Manage patients in pre/post and holding areas with appropriate staffing ratios (4:1 pre/post, 2:1 holding)
• Participate in on-call rotation as required per unit scheduling policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Previous Cardiac Cath Lab experience required — candidates without this experience will not be considered
• Ability and willingness to take call as part of the role
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR and Merge hemodynamic system (or ability to quickly adapt)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Structural Heart procedure experience (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, etc.)
• Electrophysiology (EP) lab experience
• Flexible, easygoing personality well-suited to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
