This is a high-impact leadership role managing a team in a specialized oil & gas manufacturing facility.Candidates MUST have experience in a machine shop and with machining, preferably within the oil and gas industry.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily production operations in a high-mix, low-volume machine shopManage work orders and production planning through ERPSupervise, train, and evaluate shop floor employees; lead with a hands-on approachMonitor performance metrics: safety, quality, productivity, and on-time deliveryCoordinate closely with leadership, engineering, sales, and planning teamsDrive shop floor efficiency, job flow, and schedulingLead continuous improvement initiatives focused on workflow and outputMaintain operational compliance and ensure PPE/safety protocol adherenceRequired Qualifications:5+ years in a Production Manager or similar leadership role within a manufacturing machine shopStrong background in machining, metal materials (carbon, chrome, nickel, moly alloys), and work order systemsExperience using an ERP production system for job tracking and schedulingExcellent leadership, accountability, and team-building skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentPrior oil & gas manufacturing experience is a mustPreferred (Not Required):Familiarity with components such as HP clamp & hub, flanges, valves, and closuresExperience with ISO, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologiesThis is a rare opportunity to join a tight-knit, highly skilled team with strong company culture.
