Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Team Lead

EverActive is growing! We're looking for a motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Team Lead to join our new assisted living therapy team serving communities in the Livonia and Northville areas! This is a great opportunity for a COTA who is passionate about helping older adults maintain their independence and quality of life and is ready to take on additional leadership responsibilities while continuing to provide hands-on occupational therapy services. What You'll Do Provide occupational therapy services to residents under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist Help lead and support the therapy team across assigned assisted living communities Coordinate day-to-day therapy operations and help maintain efficient workflows Collaborate with facility staff and interdisciplinary care teams to address residents' functional needs Help residents improve their ability to participate in daily activities and maintain independence Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with applicable standards Support a positive team culture focused on quality care and collaboration What We’re Looking For Current Michigan Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team Interest in leadership, team development, and quality improvement Experience in assisted living, senior care, or a similar setting is preferred Previous leadership experience is a plus!
