Resource Adequacy Planner II

Overview In this position, you’ll help support efforts to evaluate and enhance modeling approaches that better capture reliability risks and assess the capacity value of both existing and emerging resources. You’ll perform and analyze LOLE studies, help refine QA/QC practices, and contribute to improvements that increase confidence in modeling outcomes. Your work will help inform ongoing accreditation efforts, policy discussions, and system enhancements. You’ll also develop your technical perspective to interpret planning data across MISO and the broader industry, identifying trends and potential challenges. Along the way, you’ll also learn and receive support from your teammates—while collaborating across teams to continuously improve Resource Adequacy processes. The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $87,000-$112,000 USD annually. Position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met. Qualifications Education Bachelors or better in Economics Bachelors or better in Computer Science Bachelors or better in Engineering Experience Required 2 years: Relevant and related job experience.
