Catering Sales Manager - Must live in Nassau County

About the Role As Catering Sales Manager, you own catering revenue growth across Nassau County for Sterling Restaurants. You'll spend most of your week in the field — building relationships with corporate clients, healthcare offices, schools, and event planners — and partnering with our store teams to make sure every order is executed flawlessly. You're the face of Sterling to local catering customers and the connective tissue between sales and operations. Responsibilities Drive territory revenue. Hit or exceed quarterly catering sales targets across your assigned Nassau County stores by growing existing accounts and opening new ones. Prospect and close. Generate pipeline through cold outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn, in-person drop-ins), referrals, and event-based networking. Convert leads into repeat clients. Manage accounts end-to-end. Own the customer relationship from first conversation through post-event follow-up. Conduct satisfaction check-ins, resolve issues quickly, and turn one-time orders into long‑term accounts. Partner with store teams. Build trusting, honest working relationships with Operating Partners, GMs, and local crews. Loop them in early, communicate clearly, and step in to help with deliveries or execution when the moment calls for it. Use the data. Keep CRM records current and accurate. Track order patterns, win/loss reasons, and account health. Bring insights — not just activity — to your weekly CSM calls and reports to the Director of Catering. Drive local marketing. Co‑develop and execute the quarterly marketing calendar. Make sure catering POS, menus, and promotional materials are current and visible across your stores. Be a brand ambassador. Speak knowledgeably and professionally about Sterling Restaurants — our menu, capabilities, and standards — and help customers make decisions that lead to great events. Qualifications 3–6 years of catering, restaurant, hospitality, or B2B food sales experience, with a track record of growing revenue year over year. Must live in Nassau County Required Skills Strong sales instincts — comfortable with cold outreach, consultative selling, and closing without being pushy. Excellent organization and follow-through. Catering is a logistics business, and details matter. Tech fluency: CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Toast, or similar), Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace, and the ability to pick up new sales and ordering tools quickly. Familiarity with AI‑assisted productivity tools is a plus. Self‑direction. You manage your own calendar, your own territory, and your own results. Remote and field‑based work suits you. Ability to travel four days a week within Nassau County. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. High professional ethics, energy, and a genuine love of food and hospitality. Preferred Skills Existing book of business or relationships in Nassau County. Experience with off‑premise catering, drop‑off, and full‑service event sales.
