Assembler Position

The assembler will work in a team environment to disassemble and inspect paper machine rolls utilizing various tools.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Disassemble and inspection of paper machine rolls (training provided)
• Utilize different types of measuring instruments such as micrometers, sine bars, dial indicator, gauge blocks, calipers, etc.
• Record keeping complete paperwork for each job accurately and neatly
• Operate tow motors, overhead cranes and different power tools in a safe and efficient manner (training provided)

Requirements:

• Prior assembly experience
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must be at least 18+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Willingness to cross train and assist in other areas as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable of different paper machine rolls, bearings, seals and other components
• Experience working in a team environment
• Must have or willing to purchase own tools

Schedule:

• 6:00AM 4:00pm (4-day work week)
• Monday thru Thursday, Tuesday thru Friday - Rotates weekly
• Weekend work when required
• Safety Boot Reimbursement

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting salary for position: $27.00- $40.50 per hour.
